Sex Magick

Specific spells are not necessary for sex magick to be successful, but we sometimes enjoy adding formality to our work, and a carefully crafted spell can help to focus the mind and the will on what one hopes to accomplish.

A spell we crafted recently for business prosperity:

Cleanse the altar with sage and oil

Place on the altar:

A lighted candle representing our shared magick rising towards Divinity
A chalice representing the female principal
A knife representing the male principal, lying across the chalice
An assortment of coins representing monetary resources, and appropriate sigils for our goal are all placed inside the chalice

We included Tarot cards in this altar layout, they were:

The Ace of Pentacles representing that our magick was concerning material prosperity
The Eight of Pentacles representing the care we exercise with our finances
The King of Pentacles representing our clients, those who provide us with material prosperity
The Ten of Pentacles representing the great prosperity we will be blessed with in the coming weeks, months, and seasons
The Four of Swords representing the peace and lack of worry continued prosperity will bring to us.

A note including:

The spell
Our intention in crafting the spell
The incantation “As is Above, So is Below, As is Below, So is Above”

The actual magick takes place as we slowly, passionately make love. We focus on the intention of our magick, but as our arousal grows we allow that focus to slowly move to the backs of our minds. We harness and hold the vast energy raised by our shared passion, releasing it at the moment of orgasm when once again our intention floods our conciseness and is carried to Divinity by our instantly released energy.

To finish the spell we place a small amount of her wetness and his in the chalice and on the knife, mixing the damp of our joy together with the coins and sigils. Later the coins are buried below the door to the business it is our intention to have blessed with material prosperity.

This spell can be used as written, or changed to suit individual tastes and circumstances. There is no “one right way” in magick, this spell will work, and does work well, but so would a vast myriad of others.
